Incline Village Board of REALTORS® received its Charter from the National Association of REALTORS® on November 18, 1970. Their name was updated to Incline Village REALTORS® in 2018 to represent its members better. IVR’s membership comprises over 500 residential brokers, salespeople, property managers, appraisers, architects, interior designers, warranty providers, title companies, insurance agents, mortgage providers, bankers, movers, home specialists, photographers, and others engaged in the real estate industry.
The term REALTOR® and its image may only be used by members of the National Association of REALTORS®. REALTOR® is a registered collective membership mark that identifies a real estate professional who is a member of the National Association of REALTORS® and subscribes to its strict Code of Ethics. When an individual member joins the Incline Village REALTORS®, they agree as a condition of membership to follow the rules that govern members’ professional conduct. Those rules include the Code of Ethics, Antitrust laws, Nevada Real Estate State Laws and Statutes, IVR Association Bylaws, and Rules and Regulations.
IVR Multiple Listing Service (IVRMLS) is an independent broker marketplace focusing exclusively on residential real estate in the local market. Access to inventory and free advertising, as well as the practice of the listing broker paying the buyer brokers’ commission, incentivizes participation in the local real estate marketplace and creates the most significant, most accessible, and most accurate source of housing information available to consumers. That levels the playing field among brokerages, allowing small brokerages to compete with large ones, and provides unprecedented competition among brokers, including different service and pricing models.
